We are seeking a Contents Lead Technician to oversee and coordinate the inventory, packing, cleaning, and restoration of personal belongings affected by fire, water, smoke, or mold damage. This role requires strong leadership, attention to detail, and the ability to manage a team effectively while providing exceptional customer service. The ideal candidate will handle personal property with care, ensuring proper documentation, safe transport, and restoration as needed. 

Responsibilities:

  • Lead and supervise a team in the packing, transportation, cleaning, and restoration of personal belongings.
  • Conduct detailed inventory using company software and document all items properly.
  • Communicate with customers and insurance adjusters, providing updates on content restoration.
  • Oversee secure storage, retrieval, and organization of customer property in the warehouse.
  • Ensure compliance with company policies, safety regulations, and industry standards.
  • Pack, unpack, disassemble, and reassemble furniture and other items as needed.
  • Load, unload, and transport belongings with care to prevent damage.
  • Inspect all contents for pre-existing damage and accurately document findings.
  • Perform cleaning and restoration using appropriate methods and solutions.
  • Utilize tracking software to manage inventory and ensure proper storage.
  • Maintain warehouse organization and inventory of supplies.
  • Report project challenges to management and propose solutions.
  • Complete documentation and administrative tasks as required.
Qualifications:

  • High school diploma or equivalent.
  • Bilingual English and Spanish preferred.
  • 2+ years of experience in contents restoration, moving, packing, or a related field (disaster restoration experience preferred).
  • Leadership or supervisory experience is a plus.
  • Strong attention to detail with excellent organizational and problem-solving skills.
  • Ability to lift up to 75 lbs without assistance and perform physically demanding tasks.
  • Exceptional communication and customer service skills.
  • Proficiency in inventory tracking and restoration software (training available).
  • Valid driver’s license with a clean motor vehicle record.
  • Ability to pass a background check and drug screening.
  • Self-motivated, able to work independently and collaboratively as part of a team.
  • Flexible schedule with availability for overtime, weekends, and on-call shifts as needed.

Compensation: $20.00 - $25.00 per hour
